He like to shred and hit on jumps Large / XL and boxes and rails

Twin resort, ultra fear, outsider ,dark horse or indoor survival ?

Resort twin is softer, and has reverse in the tips. Definitely more versatile for all mountain riding. Also way more similar to the doa, noticeably different but not a whole different ballpark like the outsiders. It’s also sorts wide; what size is his foot?

Resort Twin isn't actually much wider, just has the Death Grip right in the middle that adds an extra mm or two per side to the width.
midwest is best

Have outsiders 56 and thinking about getting a 56 doa to replace it, has anybody tried both of them? Is the doa much softer than outsiders

I’ve ridden both a lot. They are both fun but my preference by far between the two is the outsiders. It’s just more lively and I prefer the sidecut and snap. The doa might be a bit more versatile given it’s a bit softer (especially torsionally) and has the camber to flat to reverse profile which makes jibbing a little more approachable (not at all my specialty) but if you’re used to the outsiders you should be fine.

DOA feels quite a bit softer than Outsiders. Outsiders is also very snappy compared to DOA. Both great boards. Then there is Indoor :D Soft, Snappy and fun all round.
