HARDGOODS 25/26
Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
^I think that’s a healthier way of looking at it. Thank goodness for options; something out there for everyone. Binding selection doesn’t have to be binary.
a bit of taper, a lot of camber

LOL the total lack of self-awareness is what gets me. You just told people a few posts ago that their opinions are "twisted". You've inferred to multiple people that they're uneducated or inept riders simply because they have a different opinion of these things than you. We get it bruv, you're a self-proclaimed super mega expert rider and if the rest of us don't share your obsession with these hunks of plastic, we just aren't on your level. It's a weird vibe, especially for EZ, but that's what you chose to bring here so don't get all bent out of shape when people give you shit for it.jsil wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2024 11:57 pm I never told anyone that they aren't entitled to their own opinion, that's your job.

I'm not bent out of shape at all.eleveneightnate wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2024 7:55 amLOL the total lack of self-awareness is what gets me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It doesn't mean I'll agree with you,, but I definitely won't be an ass and start name calling.
Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
Totally agree. As I've said before I'm psyched to see some real innovation in the market. I hope I'm riding a completely different boot/binding setup in the future... That means someone built something even better than what I'm using now.jota wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2024 5:43 am Maybe I'm the one who's wrong, but I don't think of step on as a change, but as a quiver. I have powder boards, freeride boards, park boards, old boards, Camber, purepop, Flying V, C2, and I think of step on as a way to increase my quiver of bindings. I remember in the 90s there were people who had hardboot equipment and softboot equipment, but I don't think: I have one thing and I'm better or I sell my soul to the devil. I think: how cool!! look at all these toys!!
All the combinations to play with
Evolution is everything.

Your ego and condescending replies to people around this topic definitely constitute "being an ass". Nobody was "name calling" you until you started doing that... it's not just random hate you're getting.

Aren't you the guy who, when I explained that your fit issues with the "sloppy" heel cleat were not normal and actually a warranty issue, you got pissed at me?eleveneightnate wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2024 8:20 amYour ego and condescending replies to people around this topic definitely constitute "being an ass". It's OK man. We can stop talking about this now.
Bury it.

Nah, when I mentioned the play in my boot-to-binding connection, you tried to explain it away as me not knowing how to fit my boots properly... lol. This isn't r/snowboarding my guy.jsil wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2024 8:22 am Aren't you the guy who, when I explained that your fit issues with the "sloppy" heel cleat were not normal and actually a warranty issue, you got pissed at me?

Anyway, the quickest way for this to die is to actually let people not like StepOn instead of defensively responding to every single differing opinion with how wrong they are or how they must be noobs/bad riders. We've all witnessed your extreme attachment (pun intended) to these things, we get it.jsil wrote: Thu Dec 12, 2024 4:57 pmSloppy? Definitely not. You prob had something going on (heel lift? Boot fit?) if you felt that.

Now that we've solved the step on debate. What do y'all think of electric cars?
