Re: Hardgoods 24/25

Damn, pretty stoked on that TRice re-issue. I have the original still, one of my favourite boards. I need to check the specs to see if they are the same but maybe not, the original was a 157.5 and there wasn't a 159 if I remember correctly.

Edit: I see it is a new shape.

Re: The Official Burton Thread

We're about the same size, same height but I weight slightly less than you and I have a US10 foot. I do like to ride really fast but also hit jumps and side hits where possible. The 163 is defintely more fast & carving than jumping and it is really fun but I think the 168 would be a lot of board...

Re: The Official Burton Thread

Also I rode the 159 last month on the black piste into Lavancher bowl in Chamonix... first thing in the morning, in the shade, on bulletproof ice... and it was fine. It wasn't fun... but it was fine.

Re: The Official Burton Thread

I haven't ridden a Sensei but I have a flight attendant 159 and also a 163 (but that one is a split). Edge hold is great, it's a powerful board and can definitely cut some trenches. The 168 would be a beast... I hope you are a big dude and / or like riding fast!

Re: The boot thread

Upper zone lace, above the cleat. Happened while I was re-tightening after a few runs. I googled the replacements but nobody seems to have them. Will email Burton tomorrow. Good to know they are easy to replace!

Re: The boot thread

Today I snapped a speedzone lace. 2022 Ions, they have less than 20 days on them (didn't get to ride much last year...) so pretty annoying. I just tied the two ends together and got on with my day but what's the prognosis? Burton website is confusing saying the boots have a year warranty but the New...
