Yeah, I was referring to the overall principle. Obviously it's built with the parts specific to the highback and the purpose.

I haven't ventured into the step on realm yet but it looks like Burton et al are finally designing boots specifically for Step Ons and not just retrofitting existing models, given that the leverage and pressure areas are different from traditional boot+strap setups. They are busy but their lift capacity is very good.

These resorts are relatively big, so you can always find place that’s not crowded.

My eyes prefer rose varients (over yellow/orange). But Oakley had a light pink prism that idk if they make anymore, was some letter/number combo that I use 90% of the time. Maybe they call it hi pink now.

It's like clear, but better. Idk that I've ever used my grey. It's just always overcast ...

If history and the evolution of ski bindings are any guide then I'd say yes, eventually an easy entry and exit system will win.
