Healthy camber for a modern deck. I'd estimate at least 5 mm. Flat-ish camber was my biggest concern with the board, but not so worried anymore.

Flex feels much burlier than a 6/10. I'd call it more like 7.5.

I'm excited for this deck. Everything's shaping up for it be a good fit for me. Even liked the graphic better in person. The artwork between the feet pops and the mostly white top sheet gives Korua-esque blank canvas opportunities. Only real major changed I'd make is all black, no diecut base, but c'est la vie.

I swore I wasn’t going to buy one this season because I have a very strong preference towards black snowboards(looking down at white feels weird).. but it literally took one fucking marketing video and I was in the checkout 🤣

You know what would be cool on the aeronaut... a black vinyl wrap with a cutout for the center art piece..

Does anyone know the owner of that shop, Out of bounds? He used to have some pretty opinionated posts on DMQ

props to him though, it's the only core snowboard shop left in the nyc region'ish. all the other ones closed shop which is crazy given that it's the largest city in the us

As a kid I remember watching other kids go into shops with their parents and throw brand new full setups on the sales counter and my little brain could even comprehend what that would be like.

Good thing that young buck got the Atlas "Pro", he'd surely be too much for the regular Atlas. He's happy so I'm happy for him, but I think he'd have a lot more fun with the right setup.

is it perhaps at all possible that this is his dad’s setup?

hard to say no to a nice sale like that, but if the salesman is worth any salt, that’s not what you setup a kid on. even if he rips, it’s def not the right size.

The shop I worked at was right on the border of a very wealthy county and a blue/purple collar county. Man.. some of these kids would come in with their parent’s credit card and drop $1500+ on gear in a matter of 20 minutes.
