Indoor rules. Never should've sold mine.

pow_hnd wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:32 am Honestly, I'd love to ride a Capita, but they just don't have any decks that quite fits the specs I'm looking for. BSOD I'm sure I'd love. If the Navigator just had more taper...
I thought I'd miss taper when I got the Mega Death. Once I got my stance dialed, I don't miss it at all anymore. Comparing it other directional boards with zero/minimal taper like the JL or Otto, the BSOD/MD shape floats the best.
I know if could do BSOD for a resort ripper for 90% of my days, but for 4 days of Heli/Cat 20+ mm of taper makes your day 4 legs still feel like day 1 legs.

Totally. Taper will never not be useful.

Love this board , and ultras are wonderful with strata highbacks.

This is fun. Pretty much a partyboard version of indoor. Feels almost the same but with rocker. Also carbon beams helps a bit. Perfect for spring slush.

And the Wide is black, which I like better.

Could anyone compare the Resort Twin with the Doa?

When Capita says "everyday resort
shreds for fans of Spring Break," what does it mean? Is there any differentiating factor between the SB and the Capita? or is it just a cult of style and brand?

Resort twin is more snappy and slightly more damp and might have better edge hold thanks to death grip. (i haven't ridden DOA in 2 months). Flex is pretty similar. Resort twin is also wider. DOA has a tiny amount of rocker vs full rocker nose/tail on Resort twin.

Agreed, that’s pretty accurate on doa vs resort twin. As well as the party board version of the indoor comment. I would also add that the rocker in the resort twin is very subtle. I love both the indoor and resort twin, I find the doa to be very okayish.

I'm gonna grab one as soon as next season's wides are out. Sounds like it'll be the perfect park/side hit/fuck around board for cruiser resort days.
