Last week:
Spencer if that's you putting in an appearance at 1:38, you have a distinctly Temple Cummins style of movement in the pow (and I mean that as a high compliment). My first thought seeing your laps in the pow was literally: "Wow Spencer and his homies get to ride with Temple, pretty cool...".

Were you up at Stevens too? We did a couple of laps in Chief Bowl that were amazing! Even when we left at 1pm there was still plenty of fresh.

Yeah, I was mostly in 7th, tye bowl, and andromeda. I usually like to hit big chief bowl, but just didn't have the legs for it at the end of my day haha.
I went up again today, it was much busier than thursday though, so things got tracked out pretty quickly. Did a few laps down 7th, went to the backside, andromeda, wild katz, peaced out early because it was my third day in a row at Stevens; my quads were cooked.
Lemme know if you wanna ride some time, I'm usually heading up there during the week because I work weekends (to avoid the crowds).

Thankfully was able to get out last Saturday for the annual end of season banked slalom event here (Day 5 for me ). Conditions were pretty icy w/ frozen slush, after a pretty warm week leading up to last Saturday's -10ish°C windchill weather. Was quite icy in certain areas and almost slid out a couple times lol, but def still happy to get some turns & partake in my favorite type of snowboarding event.
Shout out to the brosef @ad1105 for filming (cameo 1:25min ). We've been doing this event together for ~4-5 seasons, and has been some great times. Plus, a fun challenge to be able to race with some of the best turners in the snowboard scene here, maybe even province.

Wife just gave birth on Thursday but since Grandma is in town I was able to get out the past 2 days. April pow days are special - no lift lines and hike to terrain goes almost untouched all day.

Yesterday was awesome splitboarding. Perfect temps, 22” in the last 48 hours and not a lick of wind on the ridges. Legit day in Wasangeles.
