The Official CAPiTA Thread
Re: The Official CAPiTA Thread
Honestly, I'd love to ride a Capita, but they just don't have any decks that quite fits the specs I'm looking for. BSOD I'm sure I'd love. If the Navigator just had more taper...

I have been eyeballing kndoor but its wider than my 160 public research and thats absolutely the widest i can gobagis wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:21 amDOA feels quite a bit softer than Outsiders. Outsiders is also very snappy compared to DOA. Both great boards. Then there is IndoorBlessed420 wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 7:34 am Have outsiders 56 and thinking about getting a 56 doa to replace it, has anybody tried both of them? Is the doa much softer than outsidersSoft, Snappy and fun all round.

Indoor has deathgrip in the middle so comparable waist width is few mm’s below what is stated in the specsBlessed420 wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:09 pmI have been eyeballing kndoor but its wider than my 160 public research and thats absolutely the widest i can gobagis wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:21 amDOA feels quite a bit softer than Outsiders. The Indoor is not nearly that (og Horror) soft, I'd call it closer to midflexYukonCornelius wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 8:21 am would love to try that one day, haven't had a soft park board from capita since my og horrorscope.

Feels like the huck knife flex wise, nowhere near as flexy like horrorscope.
Lets see how it feels when the snow gets bit harder, really slushy day today so couldnt really get a feeling to it.

I thought I'd miss taper when I got the Mega Death. Once I got my stance dialed, I don't miss it at all anymore. Comparing it other directional boards with zero/minimal taper like the JL or Otto, the BSOD/MD shape floats the best.pow_hnd wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:32 am Honestly, I'd love to ride a Capita, but they just don't have any decks that quite fits the specs I'm looking for. Re: The Official CAPiTA Thread
ah okay, makes sense on the indoor. the scope was an overcooked noodle that was utterly hilarious to ride and terrifying at speed. i haven't been on anything twin like in forever, or anything that softer than a 7/10 stiffness. would be fun to have something for days when i am riding with friends who are slower on the hill.SprockingCrail wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 8:47 amThe Indoor is not nearly that (og Horror) soft, I'd call it closer to midflexYukonCornelius wrote: Thu Mar 06, 2025 8:21 am would love to try that one day, haven't had a soft park board from capita since my og horrorscope.
