Sounds like the Pro might fix that issue! I'm leaning 160 in the Pro now. I saw that Dirksen rides it in 163 and he's smaller than me.
IIRC Dirksen said on his bombhole interview that the boards he rides are stiffer than production models too.

The older twin Ultimate Ride has a scary pop from the edge and is the best true carving twin I’ve been on.
I should have kept mine
@Yeti
ok, after this post, I bought another one.
Brand new, still in the wrap. 19/20 version.
Fuck!

strange board, old topsheet and base (like mine 19/20) but it seems with the new shape.
I don't like the newer shape. After mine, it was a good idea to go in that direction (more directional, taper, setback), but they went too wide and they tighten the sidecut.
The older version is perfect for me, specs wise.
sidecut 8.1 meter
Width 252mm
effective edge 118cm
for a 153
I'm having an hard time to find any newer board with specs like this, for a 153 board (the aeronaut is really close, and it is also setback and it has a little bit of taper... which is great for me, but it is too narrow)
I'll give some setback on mine to have it more directional, and let's see if it works.

Last night I dreamed that I was riding a dancehaul
I think I may give it a try this year.

nice catch. very likely it was a proto build of the new shape but still the old graphic for Bode himself. there's also a "Very Secret Prototype" that is definitely the High Path Shape, which was kind of a continuation of that new Ultimate board.

Went for it. Hoping I got the right size, I just weighed myself and I’m at a healthy 180 these days so I’m thinking I’ll be alright haha.

So, how'd you like the regular Super 8?
Are you happy with it?
Did you find it a lot different from the pro version?

I really liked it! It took a few runs to get used to the backseat camber, but after that I was having a blast. It carves really well but isn't a plank like that 159w Passport I had. Definitely think it's a quiver killer/travel board for me.
I never ended up riding the Pro version, I just hand flexed it and knew it was gonna be too stiff.
