The Official CAPiTA Thread
Re: The Official CAPiTA Thread
I had the first year TFA

Yep, that one was a beauty. And the W17 Galaxy one, two of my all time faves for sure.eleveneightnate wrote: ↑Tue Sep 20, 2022 8:52 pm
The one with the 3D-looking terrain topsheet? Loved that one and the '18 with the astronaut staring at the monolith thing.

Was handling the 2023 BSOD and Kazu, was surprised how little camber they have. Kazu bit more than BSOD, but maybe 2-3 mm max. BSOD barely moved when I weighted between the bindings. Mercury and DOA had a lot more "spring" to then.

A 161 Tree Hunter popped up near me for $300, almost new. Stop.

Re: The Official CAPiTA Thread
Has anyone ridden a newer Outsiders? If so, how's the feel? Need a new park/fuck around deck and I like that it's a simple, nearly 100% camber profile while still having higher end materials in it. Really feeling this year's graphics, too:
Re: The Official CAPiTA Thread
I had a 18/19 Outsiders, with "canadian maple dual core" (I suppose it was poplar as usual with some maple here and there), so not totally relatable to the newer versions (poplar and paulownia, superlight).
BTW, it felt like 100% camber, nice open sidecut, it railed turns at high speed too, and it was really poppy.
For a new park/fuck around deck, to me, if you are in to twin, is perfect.
I sold it because I prefer directional boards, I switched it with a Kazu (to me the Kazu is basically an high end Outsiders, in a directional tapered shape, with a little bit of setback and liiiitle bit of rocker in the tip, with a little bit more open sidecut). Super light, super poppy, really really easy to ride

Have a chance to snag this one, it's basically new for $300. Seems steep for a 6 year old board, but that graphic...G.D. wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 6:21 amYep, that one was a beauty. And the W17 Galaxy one, two of my all time faves for sure.eleveneightnate wrote: ↑Tue Sep 20, 2022 8:52 pm

Sheesh, well in dude. Worth it for sure, esp if really in good condition.
