They’ll put you in a better mood when you shred ‘em, so pull up a chair and talk about ‘em

I'm still lurking around.

I'm going to pull the trigger on an Alterra pass within the next week or two. Shawn got a Sugar Bowl pass this year, so will most likely try to get a couple days there with him. Can still get comps at Northstar, so will probably find myself there 1-2 days this season if there's a crew there.

Need to get Xander out to Tahoe this season.

Are you Alkapalisadesik now?

Let's do a Palisades day. Don't think we've ever actually ridden together.

Hit me up about Sugar Bowl. One of these days I'll switch over entirely. I'm increasingly over megapass crowds.

And I don't care enough to pay for Northstar but if you got a hookup... ;)

Ha, never. Alkasquawlik is here to stay.

Will do, we'll get some turns in this year. Need to ride with Tommy as well, think it's been a few seasons past for us as well.

Do have a hook up at Northstar, not really planning on riding there much, but can scrounge some tickets if the opportunity rises.

I'll be at Palisades on Saturday if any of you knuckleheads will be out. Gonna drive up from SF part way up Friday, dirtbag in my car around Auburn, then drive the rest of the way up in the morning.

I normally wouldn't bother this low tide, but I got a buddy from LA whose work took him out to South Lake, and another LA buddy who decided to come up too.

Debating whether to take out the new Aeronaut. Ride report from some local friends say the groomers are decent, just limited. They opened up some gnarlier terrain, but I wouldn't hit that stuff without a beater lol.

I won't be able to make it up until after Xmas, at the earliest. Let me know how the parking reservation system works out for you.

Got a free spot, reservation was pretty smooth. They open up 50% of free spots at noon on Tuesday, then another 50% at 7.

I kind of wish if they were going to move to this system they had a nominal fee attached to it, like $5. Making it free incentivizes people to just grab reservations in case they plan on going up. I only plan on riding Saturday, but I grabbed one Sunday in case I spend the night. I'm going to probably just transfer Sunday to a buddy. They don't impose any cost on me making a reservation I may or may not use. The system they have in place is also stupid simple so it'd be very easy to automate a scripted bot that just grabs a free reservation every weekend on Tuesday.

Wrapping up Baldface so won't be around. Likely won't go up until the new year with the blackout dates starting soon.

My buddies bailed because work trip got cancelled, they’re headed to Mammy instead. I’m going to head up and stretch the legs anyway.

Did you end up taking the Aeronaut out? How was it?
