While I understand why they discontinued it, I still think the Genesis X was my favourite binding Burton ever made. I regret letting them go.

I dont recall, what was the difference between the two?

I love the Genesis on my pow wrench but not on my Flight Attendant. Malavita hibacks on cartel baseplates are my favorite binding with either genesis or leather straps.

Well, I just switched the Genesis highbacks for a pair of Malavita and I may have found my issue, the right Genesis highback was actually a Reflex and not EST - I guess I should have paid more attention to the cheap eBay bindings!

If I read that right, its really funny. But also, Im sorry.

Oops I missed a word! The reflex highback fits in the EST baseplate but you can't rotate it parallel to the board's edge and seems to mess with the forward lean.
