Not a bad color, but I like my Hedge Green jacket better.
Re: Hardgoods 23/24
@michaelangelo you got Cyclics by chance?
Re: Hardgoods 23/24
Yep, I have these on an old Analog jacket and they are so good. The Analogs are better than the Burton because they have stretch (for my long arms). So much better than wrist gaiters.

Maybe this was already discussed, but I've heard a couple rumors now that the Malavita won't be back next season. Can anybody confirm?
Re: Hardgoods 23/24
I think the Hedge green is going to be a carryover in the AK line. I can't tell if that 3L Pro referenced above is Hedge or a bit lighter.eleveneightnate wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 8:49 pm Not a bad color, but I like my Hedge Green jacket better.
Im also interested in this greyed-out purple AK at the beginning of this clip.
The AK457 model of the Expedition Down still says "notify me" rather than "out of stock" in Large and up so those may still be coming...

I may have to just bite the bullet and buy the Tusk jacket in that blue. Blue is my color.
I am set to be on a Baldface trip in about two weeks with some corporate B people... I will lobby hard for the Powder Grips to be on all the high end AK jackets.... doubt it will do any good, but I will beat it to death in the cat over the course of the trip.

Re: Hardgoods 23/24
Hell yeah. Every AK jacket should have some kind of sleeve-to-glove connection thing. I mean, they start at $400... can't imagine using some fabric scraps to make thumb loops would cost them that much.pow_hnd wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 10:09 am I may have to just bite the bullet and buy the Tusk jacket in that blue. Still seems I'm one of the few people who likes wrist gaiters I don't experience any of what others have said they dislike, but we all use our gear in different ways

Re: Hardgoods 23/24
I love wrist gaiters. Most 686 jackets have them. I have baselayers with thumb holes but they're usually too thick and just not as nice as having them built into the jacket.
Re: Hardgoods 23/24
I prefer the gaiter too. Ive tried the Guide, Tusk, and Hover over the past 3-4 seasons and I prefer the Hover over the other two higher end jackets in almost every way, especially the fit and pockets. I don't know what the current Hover has in the wrist are but my wrist gaiters on my Hover from two seasons ago are perfect.
