Didn't Line start out as a skiblade/ snowblade company? I could be wrong
Re: Hardgoods 24/25
I think I'm at the point where to me the hate towards Line is a bit silly.
We're 'for' snowboarding and snowboarders, but only on our terms?
What are those terms?
Everytime we have this discussion there's an exception granted somewhere, and not somewhere else.
We had this discussion again a few weeks back and it just occurred to me that there are levels of 'core' but the punk ethos that continues to rage in the sport is much more 'anti' something than it is 'pro' something.
Just like vegans can't just eat veggies and shut the fuck up about it and live their life happily and quietly being who they are. What they really want is to rage and spew anti-meat to claim some moral high ground.
There's nothing more snowboarding than a ski company making a snowboard because their team would rather snowboard when they're not skiing for money.

The 159 specs are absolutely perfect for me: 260ww, 10mm taper, 7.8m sidecut.Vanni wrote: Sun Oct 06, 2024 8:02 am I was also looking in to the Sick Stick, in this days
too bad that in my (small) sizes the sidecut is too tight
the next size up is too wide for me
(still, I'm interested... I have a soft spot for Salomon boards)
They are all wrong for me, except the width
I ordered one

It's really a thing of beauty.
If I don't like it, I think it will end on a wall.
Flexwise seems like my 16/17 Super 8 (I have a lot of days on it), mediumish flex. But seems very poppy.
Stiffer tail and nose, as Salomon says.

Didn’t know which thread to ask this, but has anyone had any experience riding/ seeing in the wild these aecre boards? Specs look quite good.

No, but shape wise it looks a bit like a banker

Re: Hardgoods 24/25
looks like Aecre is Snowcountry's in-house brand, ala Season/evo. boards do look nice.
that Illicit is a bit wider than the Banker, tighter sidecut throughout, too. Banker's starts more open & tightens towards the tail.

Would certainly have its own ride, but I immediately thought it looked like an orbit
