Yeah, interesting to hear all these ultra-specific design ideas and obsessive tweaks made over several years then he says the specs.C.Fuzzy wrote: Sat Apr 12, 2025 12:31 pm Listened to the Celia torstein BH and had a sensible chuckle at Tor saying union figured out how to mount a binding with only 2 screws.
Mmmhmmm.
Sounds neat tho. Idk about 1k neat. But that's just me.
That’s a directional twin with camber my dude. Every company has at least one in their board line.
To be fair I’d probably love it.
Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
I wish they’d bring back the Warpspeed in a version that wasn’t a Lambo collab.
a bit of taper, a lot of camber

Catching up on old threads. Take it with a grain of salt from someone who hasn't ridden their Aero in over a year (G.D. wrote: Wed Mar 19, 2025 11:46 am Rode both the W26 Capita Aero & the Mercury. Both didn't really excite as much as I was hoping, esp the Aero. Could be due to the fact it felt barely broken in, but the 57 Longo felt a lot stiffer underfoot than I expected and prefer these days. Rode it for a few laps (conditions were firm slush, fwiw) and wanted to switch out sooner than I was expecting.
Tried the 57 Merc right after it and felt a touch less stiff underfoot & had a touch more torsional flex than the Aero, but not by much. Stayed on the Merc longer, for maybe close to an hour ... But tbh, enjoy my 54 & 57 Passport much more. Similar flex overall, but a little less dead feeling. Was really surprised ngl, esp the Aero. The feedback I've heard since it released was it was not that stiff and rides pretty lively, which is what I was looking forward to. And I've been wanting to get a Capita board for a while now. Guess the wait continues ;p.
I don't find in that stiff personally, but I'm a little heavy for mine (210-ish on the 161).

Anyone have a catalog pic of the Public Research for next year? There may be a link somewhere in this thread but I'm too lazy to look through 130 pages.
I don't think the specs are changing so I'm just curious about the graphic. The specs on the 160 are right up my alley, just for funz I may pick one up next season to go head-to-head with my mighty Cadet.
