Got about 7 days on my Deluxe Areth Rins now and they are my favourite boots ever.
Soft enough for me and fits me really well.
With these and my sorels with k2 liner in them I'm set for a good while.
Ten out of ten, would buy again.

Picked up a pair of the vans DK one off from last year and tossed my adidas liners and footprint insoles in them. I’m remarkably happy with them. I’m a diehard laces guy and I’m shocked how much I’m enjoying the double boa. Not that it matters at my boot size but I was also able to size down from a 9.5 to a 9.

Only at a shop, in a size that was too big for me. I can tell you that they look good, construction-wise. Better than the Thraxis I tried last month. And pretty lightweight, too.

They're definitely stiff, but without feeling unmanageable right out of the box. I imagine they'll break into a firm, responsive flex for most of their life.

The liner felt good, but without trying it in the right size, I wouldn't stake my life on it, especially after feeling how flimsy the liner in the Thraxis felt.

The zip up lacing cover was one of the easiest to operate I've seen, too, with the zipper being easier to pull up or down than other boots I've tried with a similar feature.

I think that's as much as I can confidently tell you, based on my short experience with them.

My Rift APXs just showed up and, damn, they're really fucking nice. Very burly/high quality construction that feels like they'll last a while, great fit, probably the most locked down my heel has ever felt in a stock boot/liner with a perfect amount of room in my toes, and they're noticeably stiffer than the regular ones (feel close to my Acerras). The only downside is they don't have a very reduced footprint so they're gonna bump me off of most of my non-wide boards.

@Kevington they fixed your issue with the regular ones. That stitching over the toes is gone and now the entire lower is hard rubber/plastic.

velcro on top is stiff but its the only thing holding the liner closed up top and its not gonna last for a long time.

the rift laces i have were a nice suprise as they rode good out of the box and heel hold was good for now.

my 10 year old nike kaijus were just about 0.5 or one size smaller in footprint as these are :D

Sounds like I need to try these. I was concerned they would be just as soft as the regular version but they could be perfect if they are a bit stiffer.

When you say they don’t have a reduced footprint, do you mean compared to Adidas or just generally? The regular Rift were the same length as my Ride Fuse which was quite reduced compared to Vans for example.

Yeah, definitely not soft out of the box like the regular version. Time will tell if they retain that, but I think the beefy construction will help there.

Just relative to what I'm used to (Adidas and Burton). They look to have the exact same sole as the regular version, so I bet they're the same footprint/length. It's only an issue for me because I'm a 10.5/11 and right on the line for M/L bindings and regular/wide boards.

There's actually a lot more velcro up top than most boots I've had and I've never had a problem there. Could always add straps if it comes to that.
