Euro riders

They’ll put you in a better mood when you shred ‘em, so pull up a chair and talk about ‘em

Snow quality at the end of the year can be a hit & miss. Also on powder days students & powder people from Innsbruck rush on the mountain and it can be tracked pretty quickly. Try the Kaspressknödel at the Sunnalm! Delicious cheese "dumplings" either in soup or with salad.

Kühtai is also a 30 minutes drive by car from here. The bottom of the resort is at 2000m above sea level but the top is not that high, only 2520m. Except long traversing slopes. There are also some good easily accessible off piste runs as well. Keep in mind that it can be windy and many times wind blows away the snow from the sunny side.

I can't say anything the other two resorts.
Excellent, thanks for these tips!

Anyone been there and got any tips?
Check out Hochfugen, it's a hidden gem. 1 hour drive from IBK ;)

Pitztal was so-so to me, better options are Stubai or Sölden

Stubai and Sölden seem too busy?

They are busy but their lift capacity is very good.
I’ve never waited for a lift more than 5 minutes.
These resorts are relatively big, so you can always find place that’s not crowded.

But if you will stay in Innsbruck much closer resorts for everyday riding are Axamer and Nordkette

About a week until the trip begins.

We've been looking at St. Anton, Ischgl, and Sölden, but we've also kept other recommendations in mind. The plan is to chase the snow within a 2-hour drive. We have an Airbnb near Innsbruck for 3 nights and another in Innsbruck itself for 2 nights.

There's been a lot of snow in the Alps recently. Hopefully, the snowpack will settle, followed by some light snowfall before our ski days.

Sölden is huge and I've never seen it really full at higher elevations and more difficult areas, the easier slopes and lower areas can get pretty crowded tho. But yeah, the lines move quickly.
Stubai is much smaller but surprisingly doesn't get that crowded either, except for in the morning at the base.
Both are great for what they are.

Pitztal can deliver the goods later in the season when you get the spring storms. Glacial riding. Been there when a metre came down. Glorious.

Sankt Anton and Sölden are crazy good w terrain. I’d rate Anton higher than Sölden, but chase the snow and you’ll be fine.
