Re: The Step On thread
Does this really happen?
Re: The Step On thread
Vast general consensus is user error - not using the pant clip in the back which is specifically there to prevent this

For sure. Also, they probably could've manually released the heel clip with a screwdriver or pliers.Spenser wrote: Sat Jan 25, 2025 10:31 pm Vast general consensus is user error - not using the pant clip in the back which is specifically there to prevent this

Re: The Step On thread
i've seen maybe 3 of those instances happening? all via social media, and the first one was probably last spring.
the mechanism also isn't that intricate, so it kind of boggles my mind that folks are needing that level of effort to free themselves

Re: The Step On thread
I have 3 set of bindings:
Jones mercury
B mine 77 cartel x est
Step on Genesis from LY
All work as intended
Zero issues with any of them.
WTF has happened to EL?
Is Doc secretly back?
Ride what works for you and move the fuck along
My eyes are bleeding from all the nonsense in these threads.
Do something more productive like spraying fat bogner clad skiers
Flame on flamers

Re: The Step On thread
Step 1: EZ tension builds
Step 2: EZ tension finally dies down
Step 3: right when things are back to normal, an EZ user hashes it all out again
Step 4: repeat multiple times weekly
Re: The Step On thread
I welcome the opportunity to distract myself from the existential dread of hurtling towards the crescendo where I either die or alternately am reborn into the infinite abyss of the great unknown, perhaps without comfort of continuity of anything that I am or even that I am at all... and at the same time knowing daily that I will no longer be able to protect and give comfort to those I love and leave behind...eleveneightnate wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:59 pmStep 1: EZ tension builds

With just a good little amount of bickering and facetious hyperbole over trivial technology changes in how my feet interface with the weird slippery snow popsicle that I wiggle and twiggle and twirl around on while falling down bumps on the earth's surface... all in an effort to get my brain to make drugs that feel smiley.
At least it's more fun than working.

I feel that. EZ is a great distraction from my WFH routine.
