Found a good deal on Rome Katana size S so I decided to give them a try, but I am so tempted to grab a pair of Atlas Pro to match on my Squash.

Katana = riding on clouds. Atlas Pro = feeling every little bump jolt up through your joints. Guess I'm getting to that age where dampening is what I think about most in bindings haha.

have you been on the current Atlas? wayyy more damp than the previous generation. can’t imagine the FC footbed reduces that too much.

in other news, I also gave a pair of Karakoram’s a try (mounted up on the new C2 Lib), I think they’re first gen Prime Connects?

didn’t hate them, def heavy and lacking the dampening of my go-to Strata’s and Atlases, but response was there. tempted to bring these with the Quiver Connector on two boards for the next trip out west.

Yeah I have. There was so much hard plastic between my foot and the board and I felt everything. Maybe I’m speaking more to “cushioning”. My Katana footbeds are like 1.5” of boost foam so I think I’m just used to that.

What's everyones thoughts on Bent Metal? Dampening, straps, response,..? Looking at the Transfer (minidisk) or Cor Pro(regular disk)

Of those 2 options, for me, canted footbed > Minidisc.

also a choice between a unibody on the corpro’s or adjustable heelcup on the transfer.

more adjustability, or more cushioning/canting.

(my actual vote would be to just get some Atlases for canting plus adjustability)

I was a fan of BM, had a couple transfers and tried Lando's pair of solutions a few years ago. To me, the transfer was pretty interchangeable with classics like a force/atlas, or cartel/malavita as far as general response & feel. Pretty straight forward bindings, which I like. Loved the thin ankle straps, nice "hug" to them - I'd happily run them on my NOWs if I could source them individually. As for the drive plate doing anything, it's hard to say, but they did feel very comfortably responsive - transfer of energy seemed precise and all that. They didn't necessarily seem more or less damp than anything else, to me. Solution was maybe a little more "sharp" because they're pretty stiff/carbon/whatever. If I got back on them, the corpro is the response level I'd want.
