It’s the stellar IIRC. Had the OG and it’s a cool ass board but soft and 255mm waist. Still enjoyed riding it but never got it in proper steep conditions.

I have the PW in a 142 that I have been planning to sell for quite some time but still reach for it when I know I'll be doing glade runs.

really underrated board from Burton. isn't horrible on hardpack/groomers for a rockered board

I keep thinking of selling this one because I rarely end up riding it, but when I ride it I realize how fun it is and decide to keep it. I think I finally have the base waxed up to my liking and it is super quick now, the groomers were amazing on Saturday and it really shone. Makes me want to try a 152 (I’m on the 148 at 170lbs/8.5 boots).

yeah, the 148 is what I 'should' have, I'm the same weight/foot size as you. I have the 142 because a shop in Stratton was clearing them out for like $200. 142 surprisingly floats well for our size. I think the Shortstop is basically an upgraded more snappy PW, but almost twice the price lol

it's Directional Flying V, not regular Flying V …to me it's basically backseat camber

It's still a center rocker point/rocker overall, but the back half has camber under the foot. You still get the center pivot point like flying v.

Not like s-rocker, where it's camber with a lifted nose. It's the difference between the s-rocker fish & malolo vs the barracuda. That was one of my least favorite profiles from B..

Edit: actually, think of it like this. Start with flying V, and just take the camber away from the front.
