that thing is wild!ad1105 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 6:45 pm I’ve been taking care of all the tunes/waxes at my local shop for the past month or so. Initially it was for the purpose of doing a service for my community, but the owners insisted on compensating me. I didn’t wanna be put on payroll, so they’ve paid me with this:

I don’t think I’ve been on a Mothership board yet. May as well try the kitchen sink. I’d never actually pay money for this thing. I justify it as an incredibly generous Thank You card that I’m grateful for.
curious what your thoughts are, their boards are very nicely made

Two thumbs up after initial fondling

Soooo in the same boat. For what it’s worth, Look at where the rockers start. The nose goes all the way into the middle of the front insert pack and the tail rocker starts after the back inserts. It probably feels great honestly. Twin shape, twin flex, with more rocker in the nose than tail and a stiffer mid section with a tight side cut. Drooling over here. Most certainly do not need but very much want one.

If it had just a slight amount of taper, I’d have one on the way.Msteff wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 2:05 pmSoooo in the same boat. For what it’s worth, Look at where the rockers start. Taper would definitely be nice

Took a punt (Aussie slang for gamble) on this Wired ARC 154 on Black Friday Sale. Construction seems solid with a textured top sheet and a lightweight. Mid flex with a poppy feel.

Rob Dow has been in the game a long long time, hopefully that thing rips.
