Anyone want to spray some recs my way?
Looking for a stretch jacket with 20/20k+ minimum waterproofing/breathability. Fine with non gtx materials.
Wants in order of importance:
Stretch fabric
Forearm pass pocket
Dual zip pit zips
Dual zip main zip
Internal dump pocket
External Chest pockets
Removeable or no powder skirt
Hand warmer pockets
Was looking at the new guch stretch jacket and also the Beringia St Elias (would be perfect but has a shoulder pocket instead of a forearm pass pocket).
pit zips are only 1 way
powder skirt isn't removable but snaps to the jacket and is basically unnoticeable
I have last year's version, its holding up fine and is indistinguishable from goretex IMO
Comically large pants
Horrible music
Suburban 13 year olds pretending to be thug
Every kid lying to himself in the comments about it looking cool
Cringiest brand I’ve ever seen. There’s no way this kid actually believes his crop top puffy and little backpack purse look cool. Maybe they’re just trolling us old folks.

at least we are getting back to self expression and total ridiculousness vs every kit looking nearly the same on the hill?
i'm just glad i have a bright purple airblaster jacket now
I dunno man, seems like the gigantic pants/tiny jacket craze is the thing everyone's conforming to at this point! Some kid cruising between all those guys while wearing skinny pants would be the true free thinker haha.

i have yet to see it on the hill this year, will report back after i go to keystone on sunday!
i feel like i will def see some young shredder in tight ripped jeans doing a back lip in the park at some point this year and everyone staring at the fit.
a little baggy but mostly form fitting has always been my favorite. although stretch material is required for pants for me.... i have blown apart way too many lowers.... 686 dispatch bibs are holding up incredibly, however.

Dispatch bibs FTW! I grabbed some Cyclic bibs for the season and they don't feel quite as solid.
The functional balance for these guys is to wear those big, baggy pants and small jackets, because if they wear the same style of jackets, they will end up getting caught between their boots and bindings
