Interesting comments about the Mercury and the Force...
I noticed like the 4 fake bushings on the new Force, when they came out.
I think also Union is trying to smooth out the ride of their bindings in the entire range.
I'm curious about the new Force
I'm 100% gonna demo the Falcors one day while I'm at Baldface this winter.
I will either love them, or they will reaffirm my hate for Union.
There is so much about them I would love to love, with the biggest thing I would love to love is the mini disc and it adding a new dimension to micro adjusting my stance.

I wish you could adjust the ankle strap a bit on unions. it always feels too low to me and digs into the top of my foot.
I haven't had the "dig in" issue, but yes, I always feel the strap is too low.
I basically feel the much taller heel cup on NOW/Yes/Jones bindings and it's heel strap placement is what makes them the binding that has worked better, been the most comfortable and the least amount of foot cramping/fatigue for me than any other binding I've ever used.

Every Union binding Ive ever tried has given me foot pain for whatever reason
And their straps feel so much more plastic and painful relative to B straps, imo. What makes me stick with the ol' faithful Cartel X's. Still need to try my Select Pros, didn't make time to use them esp with limited days on hill last winter.

Rode Union Contacts for a good while, but always had issues with the straps. Agree with @G.D. that the plastic just felt...cheap? different? stiff?...relative to Burton. Didn't know how good Burton's were until I rode Malavitas.
Was at the shop the other week and am still surprised to find that Union's strap, ladder, etc. feels the same nearly a decade later.
Different strokes. The same complaints people are describing with unions are what I feel with burtons. I’ve never had foot pain with unions but loads with burtons.
That said I frankencobble my bindings and seek out the prior generation of padded straps, so my comparison is between old Burton and older Union (which I currently run). The newer plastic straps are cheap (that’s why company’s use them) and in my opinion suck across the board.
