I thought all the p-tex was essentially coming from the same manufacturer. I get that TNT is their own thing but aren’t most sintered bases more or less the same, maybe with a different structure depending on the board company? Maybe they are up there producing their own out of moss and bongwater.

I guess I’m in the minority. I love the graphics from Mervin. My problem was there boards used to be lifeless in my opinion.
I have a ‘22 Gnu BC and a ‘22 Lib Retro Ripper. On deep days I always get compliments through out the day about the graphics on the retro ripper.
I had some older gnus with the tnt base and never had any problems.

Dang. True insider here giving out the secret formulas. Makes sense why the boards resin-ate with some more than others.

Anyone tried the Steely D 167? Nice shape, meant to ride smaller and float big.

I’ve got one in my sights for this winter, at least for an extended demo. Really excited to see how it rides.
