It snowed all the day. Unfortunately the temperatures was a little bit on the high side, so the snow was heavy and on the slopes after a while was mashed potato kind of snow.

But it was fun! I tested the new S8
My favorite Super 8 graphic so far!

It's definitely good, I think I prefer the 22 graphic, but this one is good.
I don't like the S8 with too much white, on the topsheet and/or the base

Got a shot with Evan at an urban spot not far from my house. Quick hit, short and slightly steep - getting sideways didn't work out today. Got a steezy 5050 back 1. Stacking footage for him to make a video part at the end of the season.

Day 11. Ditched work and me and the wife hit the local here in western NY for some bluebird slush laps. When I dropped my board on the snow to get in line I realized I forgot to put the baseplate covers back in my bindings after waxing the other night. It also meant I didn’t tighten the bindings down. Cue me wandering around trying to find a screwdriver because this hill has zero tool stations setup anywhere.

Wife took a couple laps while I got situated and all was well with the world. Could definitely feel I had less leverage over my toes but the Otto was still tons of fun in the mushy stuff.

Little pow day with good viz. Dumped wet all day yesterday, so I went up for the end and had a few creamy laps.. whatever happened overnight dried out the snow, and made it that much better today. Still bits of crust here and there, but mostly very smooth sailing.

Few more clips with Evan. Went back to an air over a tree that we did last year, but there's much less snow pack now, and it's pretty huge.

And first run of the day, with his boss watching

KB or Holiday? Grew up on them hills but it's been a while. Actually kind of shocked there aren't tool benches. KB was THE spot for snowboarders in the mid 90s to mid 2000 and I want to say they had benches back then.

We went to Bristol. We’re only 8 miles down the road so it’s good for a few laps to clear the brain some days. I’ve never been to KB but holiday valley has a much more welcoming vibe these days. The boardroom in ellicotville is a rad little shop as well. Bought my cheetah from them a few years ago.

Bristol is the one I never went to despite it being the highest vertical in the area. I have no idea what shape KB is in now but it was the shit back then.

I love Ellicottville and I agree on the Boardroom. I know the family that owns it in a roundabout way (buddy dated their daughter for a long time) and they're all super cool people.
