Re: Ride and K2 Snowboards
Deepfake’s updated specs. That tight sidecut part was noticeable and dominant.

One of the additions for this season - Nidecker Gun 174.
I hope for a surfy powder bomber with that 15 m avg. sidecut radius.

Re: Ride and K2 Snowboards
I’ve tested the Deepfake during a demo. Not my final take on the board - the flex is spot on but the specs for sure lie about 10 m sidecut. It must be a tiny part of the whole radius because overall it felt like 7 m.

Re: Ride and K2 Snowboards
any commissioner reports?
My friend owns one and I’ve ridden it. A wicked stiff Smokescreen.I would ditch that carbon parts there and just leave the titanal but under the topsheet and soften it. Something like Korua Bullet Train would be perfect - stiff torsionally and mid stiff tip to tail.
It ...

Ride and K2 Snowboards
Anyone has ridden the DeepFake? The long sidecut specs on the site don’t really match the waist and tips widths.
My experience with Ride and K2 has been very positive. Lively and damp and grip icy snow very well.
My Alchemist and Smokescreen absolutely rip as all mountain freeride boards, with the ...

Re: Salomon Snowboards
The older twin Ultimate Ride has a scary pop from the edge and is the best true carving twin I’ve been on. The regular Assassin is simply a great playful all mountain freestyle board.
Re: BINDINGS
I ride 2023 Drives and Apollos. My friend has the Mercury.
The Drives have better highbacks (stiffer and you can set it with less forward lean as it is shorter).
The Mercury has better straps.
The footbed on the Drives is stiffer foam (like Apollo) and is imo better.

Re: Hardgoods 23/24
Found the sizes. Especially not being "long" on paper and considering current trends, I'm sure they're wider. Basically a much bigger board in a compact overall length for softboot carving.

Nice find on the sizes. Most of the boards I’ve used to ...

Re: Check out my new...
PYL is one of my top favorites ever, but yeah DCP's choice of graphics is bleh. Glad I got the plain dark stained wood one they made a few seasons back. If I ever need to replace it I'll get a can of spray paint at the same time. 😅
I'm actually testing a new Amplid shape right now based on that ...
