Any European riders in here ?

I’m based in Lausanne Switzerland, ride most of the time in Les Portes du Soleil ,Leysin, also Grindelwald , Laax for holidays or weekends

I used to ride in Euroland (mainly Tirol and Sud Tirol regions)...I would've taken up your offer if I was still around! What's the average price for a day pass in Schweiz now?

Average price for a day pass is between 55 to 80 CHF
it depends on the size of the resort

i m riding mostly in the Arcs-la Plagne (paradiski) and sometimes days in val thorens-meribel-couchevel-les menuires

Sometimes I cross the boarder to Avoriaz, if you are around ; )

I live in Belgium and go to France, Italy, Austria,..
Mostly I spend my days riding in France, Val Tho, la plagne, Meribel, 3 vallees, les menuires,.. sometimes Les Angles in southern France
We know the resorts very good in France

I live in Innsbruck, and I buy a local pass so basically ride all the resorts around here

But I'm planning a spring trip to laax for some (late pow?) and park riding

How typical of a spot is St. Anton? I've ridden Europe twice and just keep going back there because it's rad and I have familiarity. But am curious about what else is out there in the Alps.

Honestly not so typical, in that it's a pretty epic resort. I've been there twice but only for spring slush laps (and the après-ski), probably one of the best resorts in Austria for size and variety?

But I'd say my favorite thing about Europe is exploring new resorts because there are just so many (in contrast to my experience growing up riding Tahoe and then living in Vancouver).
Not sure how easy it is to do this when just visiting for a week or 2 – and I've definitely discovered some lame resorts

St. Anton is big (ie. good) enough to be outside of the Tirol Pass. It's 3 resorts rolled up into 1. Pretty legit off piste with some serious consequence if you're into that. The Tirol Pass is crazy good too as you get access to a ton of resorts and allows you to hit up places that you normally would've never tried (I'm partial to some Osttirol resorts). For tourists, you're almost better going to Anton given the size, but as a resident it is a toss up.
