SoCal fires

Man, SoCal mountains are currently getting ass raped by fire. Reports this morning of Mountain High being a total loss, with the outlook for Snow Valley and Mt. Baldy starting to look grim. Fire advancing towards Big Bear, though Snow Summit and Bear aren't in immediate danger yet. Several mountain bike trail systems I ride in both Orange County and LA county are toast. What a brutal few days.

Sounds like Mountain High escaped with minimal structural damage. Pretty amazing given the footage.

Very surprised how well Mt High looked on the newscast today after seeing the live cam footage last night.
The Line fire is right at the backside of Snow Valley.

Someone said they had run their snowmaking machines and blew water ahead of the fire. May have had something to do with how well it survived.
