Not to beat a dead horse but how could I tell if the reference points on my board are at true twin stance?

It's a true twin with a centered stance, so I guess you would have to trust what is printed along the channel. If you want to make sure, simply take a tape measure and the distance from each tip should be the same to each reference point.

Awesome thank you! I know that the nose is a bit longer supposedly since it’s an all mountain directional board but unfortunately the reference points are not as legible anymore after 8 years of riding but I appreciate this advice I will do just that
Will the extended nose have any effect on this?

What do these little Christmas tree triangles mean on the reference? They go up and down by a triangle each stance

My bad, I guess I thought it was a true twin, so disregard what I said. Just trust the reference marks.

They're measurements.. like, if you want your stance a little wider than reference, you would just move each binding out the same amount. You've got to be able to figure out stuff like that on your own, man. Didn't your say you're in your 30s?

The other lines are measurement marks... they help you get your preferred stance width based on reference stance...... You've got to be able to figure out stuff like that on your own, man. Didn't your say you're in your 30s?
Here is the board details same board
True twin base but all mountain directional
https://www.evo.com/outlet/snowboards/b ... board-blem

I attached bindings pictures above

Looks like the board is listed as a directional twin

Fortunately and unfortunately I always had friends who were better riders always do this stuff for me and it never allowed me to learn as they always ‘took over’ so I am trying to learn it myself now

The only thing directional about it is that the nose kick, which doesn't touch snow, is a tiny bit longer. Other than that, you're standing on a true twin.

No more antler questions on EL

awesome thank you
So being the snowboard is a true twin the reference points are at a true twin basis?

What about when I ride switch, does the nose kick touch snow? What exactly is the nose kick portion?

I could guarantee you no more questions on that, the stance on the other hand haha

I’m kind of excited for union boots that may be my way out of the burton ecosystem

I just genuinely wanted to know if the reference points on my board are at a true twin basis if it’s a directional twin.. I have no clue about this stuff so I am trying to educate myself on the questions I have so I know for the future

feel free to read any of my multiple replies about the directional-ness of the Custom, as they apply exactly the same to the Antler. or you know, the post you’re directly replying to where Spenser says the nose kick doesn’t touch snow.

sorry @everyone else. i know i should just ignore it now. gotta let off steam somewhere cause i can’t talk to customers this directly (even when they really need it).
