Honestly, you might look into something from the snowmachine world
I was gonna suggest ski patroller pants. Not as burly as snowmobile, but still durable and rugged to meet the demands of their work. I have a pair Patagonia made, I think TNF, HH, also make some
Mine aren’t as thin or light as my AK freebird and Dakine 3L, but you can see why, the patrol pants I own have a lot of reinforcement (heels, crotch, seat)
Know any specific models offhand? Arc'teryx makes one, but they only sell it to guides and patrollers. I nabbed a TNF one years and it was a great fit and built burly... but returned it because it inexplicably didn't have any vents. Not like patrollers do any high intensity work that might work up a sweat and necessitate dumping heat.
here's a link to the newest
one Patagonia makes
I have an older version, that's
full-zip 2L goretex I got at some ski patrol auction at Solitude Mountain.
one of the resorts near me in VT outfits their crew in
Helly Hansen patrol gear

we were getting DUMPED on our last day riding in MT, I stayed dry in my Sasquatch kit, V-co gore buddy was having some face fabric soaking issues.

Got a warranty Cyclic in "Jake Blue Ossicone". Going back and forth how I feel about it.
I like the shade of blue (looks DOPE on the solid-colored Swash jacket, seen it in person), but somehow the texture and the pattern on the Cyclic looks dead and dull compared to the marketing photos. Granted the one of me is in shitty nighttime indoor light, but it also looks kind of muted in
this IG post from Selema.
The fit is on-point though. Much improved from previous iterations I've tried on. I stand by that Arc'teryx is better built, but I'm glad a snowboard brand made a jacket that fits the way I want.

I know that thirtytwo outerwear doesn't have the best rep on here but the new TM-3 bibs have some really attractive features for me
- Inner and outer thigh vents
- Adjusters on the upper to snug it up
- cinches at the hem for us short people
I'll be watching for sales toward the end of the season.
