That is a really good looking board, the aesthetic, but even the shape looks interesting....

Love the full stranda aesthetic, but man the new shorty is one of the best looking boards IMO..

The Cheater is my favorite of the lot ^^^
Edit: just zoomed in, it's the Shorty actually. Sheesh, that's a beauty

I'm down with the green cheater - beautiful board. But shoot, I'd take all my decks with that shorty graphic!

what does it change from the current Shorty to the next year one?
is it only the topsheet graphic, right?

Pretty much. Only difference I'm aware of is a slight tweak to the wood used in the nose. The current purple one has paulownia stringers/"inserts," in place of some of the ash/poplar, but the new one goes back to all ash/poplar. Could mean a tiny bit more dampening in the nose. Lars says the flex feels the same.
The purple one was upgraded from the original woodgrain by adding titanal stringers in the nose (stiffer, more damp) and PU sidewalls for better edge dampening, and the new one still has those additions. I'm assuming the added paulownia inserts were to offset the weight of the titanal, but then he decided to stick with ash for "feel."
Edit: I hadn't heard the term before - the more you know
