that's crazy. have never seen that before. i guess we were lucky to get a patent in the first place. i know snowtech had channels mounted on top of the board in the 80's

The flex is why I have always avoided the channel. I've never understood how embedding two metal bars in a snowboard is going to make a board better. But you seem like the man who might actually know.
The channel has a more consistent flex across the length of the channel while also being thinner and lighter than standard insert packs.

All in what a designer wants to achieve I guess. Some like to put tit-analuminum in their boards.

wouldn't it be wild if off the rack snowboards were still like skis and required us to drill our own inserts in

Would be sick. We could drill them near the edges like people used to and get far better response.
No micro fiddling with stance all the time.

6500€
Who the fuck buys this??
100 units handmade in the Alps
…Well maybe someone like the one who crashed Lando Norris's F40…
…maybe also someone who own a Lamborghini and is now giving away his Lamborghini Capita and reserving this one
… and why the fuck do I get this board on Google when I'm searching for a superdoa Capita???

I prefer the camber sidecut profile of this one more if I was going to get one of their boards
