Thank-You! Is it just me or does the baseplate on the Falcor look different? Looks like it's missing the wings?
Think it's just the angle, it looks exactly the same as the stock photo of the 24/25:

I’m down to derail this thread. Echoing c. fuzzy I think it’s cool mr. partridge is here. sorry if I was a little aggro on your binding baby, I just like being annoying
I like the channel. I don’t have any beef with it. However many years later, do you prefer inserts or channel?
I am not a fan of the single channel or the alloy construction (not a go at burton). i have built a channel system (which was always my goal) in which the rider can have 2 presets. one for powder and one for hardpack, that the rider can switch between on the fly. it is for the rider who wants a board they can ride powder in the morning and hardpack later when it gets tracked out, they can change their binding position instantly (toolless). but haven't found anyone willing to invest in it

who is he?? i was asked my thoughts on the channel and i answered that i didn't think burton's changes to my original approach were an improvement, as i feel the alloy is too stiff and allows the bindings to slip. also, i think it was counterproductive that burton went to a different standardisation to the 4X4. i also know the channel can be taken to another level.
