Wow how fun! I didn't know Taiwan produced boards, let alone Nitro and Rome!

Re: Hardgoods 23/24
Sintruded is a special base formula when the base is extruded but you lie about it to try and get a few extra dollars

yeah i guess its just a marketscheme for people who dont know how to read
Re: Hardgoods 23/24
is it weird that I won't buy any board if it has any die cuts between the tip and tail now?
also I'm guessing that Forum Sintruded is close to sintered as they're using die cuts?, otherwise they'd just use paint like every other extruded base?

Wow, "sintruded" bases a $700 board is... suboptimal. Mervin does it on a couple boards (Skunk Ape, the Jamie Lynn), but they at least have the excuse of high production and labor costs in the US. Guessing Forum's costs are high from Mothership + small production runs?

Yeah, either that or Forum requested a low maintenance base (cause jibbers?) can't see why at that price point though, it def surprised me when I dug into the specs.kimchi wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 11:54 am Wow, "sintruded" bases a $700 board is... suboptimal. I'd probly be on one if they were comparable to Capita's pricing and had a proper high end base material.
