The boot thread
Re: The boot thread
i checked out a friends areth rins and they look so solid in construction/design details compared to my blown up k2 overdraft boots.
the overdrafts liner has packed out more than any boot liner i ever owned and the left boot split right at the articulating cuff.
its geting so bad that snow packs in there and my feet get wet and cold. 1/10 would not recommend.

Re: The boot thread
Just got my areth rin, size 26.
they feel great carpet boarding.
the k2 overdraft feels like a "snowboard boot replica" compared to these.
the areths has great details and looks like they are made to last.
the liner has a more dense foam and the heel hold boa doesnt feel like a afterthought just to bump up the price.
will probably go ride to try them out tomorrow.

Re: The boot thread
They are great! I've ridden them previous season and they are by far the most comfortable I have owned up to date. For my feet they fit excellent! I'm glad I bought these!MarkusM wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 10:32 am Just got my areth rin, size 26.

I've now bought the Vans Snowsurf Infuse for a stiffer boot and will try them next week. If they are not an excellent fit I'll go back to Deeluxe for a stiffer boot

Re: The boot thread
Someone was looking for Nitro lace boots in Europe.
This place has the Venture Pro lace in two colours and lots of sizes at a good price:
https://www.privatesportshop.com/produc ... abel=Nitro
I just tried on the Team and the Skylab in a few sizes. There was a big jump from the 9.5 to the 10. Felt like they use the same shell for the full and half sizes. Something to consider if ordering online. I'm usually a 9.5 but they were far too short, 10 was too big.

Re: The boot thread
Mondo 265 Acid's came and after a bit of heat molding/packing out length would have been ok. For width the fit felt tight and also toes were cramped height wise. Pretty stiff boot compared to my worn out Lexicons. Also heel hold wasn't nearly as good.kieloa wrote: Tue Feb 18, 2025 6:31 amUS 8 1/2, EU 42, mondo 265unsuspected wrote: Mon Feb 17, 2025 1:48 pmWhat size are you in Adidas? Still some in stock around the world.kieloa wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 8:52 am So.. My Adidas Tactical Lexicon Adv boots are deteriorating. Tongue stitching broke and snow/water is finding its way inside the boot.
So what mid/stiff boot to buy for narrow ankle and E width foot?![]()
I found same boots from ebay for 200€, but I think Im ready to move on. I remember the instep pressure/pain when my boots where brand new and Im not going through that again.
Ordered Bataleon Acid boots in mondo 265, let's see if they fit.
So..
Im going to return the Acid's and ordered the same Adidas Lexicons I had.
