I think we should slow down a bit, it hasn't been confirmed that anyone is let go, they are killing it at retail with the Longo and price point stuff, and they are still making all kinds of techy gore shit, their relationship with Baldface just ended. if you cared about "core" you probably gave up on them a long time ago and are wearing terrible shit from Souvenir and Skull Skates.

Oh I gave up on them a long time ago sir. The only thing I still own of Volcom is two of the Volcom suits. If I have to attend an event that requires that type of attire, at least I’m showing up in a weirdo suit.

I kinda went all-in on Volcom outerwear. Guess I’ll be that guy, at least until I find something else that fits the way I want it to.
a bit of taper, a lot of camber

Now it's Northface again. Never tried Northface snowboard outerwear so can't say anything positive/negative about it.
North Face is hit or miss. I have a midlayer Ventrix hoody I wear 100+ days a years between snow, hiking, and San Francisco microclimates. Love that thing.

I've blown out seams on 2 different pairs of gloves and was pretty unimpressed with a few Goretex Pro pieces I've scrutinized. Never owned one bottle ght a few and returned because I wasn't stoked on fit and feel.

I'd take them over most snowboard outerwear companies but that's a low bar.

Plus side is if you have a TNF Ourlet handy you can find SCREAMING deals, like 60-80% off MSRP pm Gorw jackets. That company definitely produces far too much shit lol.

@kimchi is still wrecking all his gear. I somehow find that comforting, knowing that at least there are some things in life that we can all count on.

Truly. Something would be wrong if @kimchi wasn't blowing out the seams of his outerwear somewhere.

It would just mean he started buying the correct sizes... We've ridden together multiple times. That dude is a full 2"-3" taller than me, like 6'/2"-6'/3" and has a full 40-50 lbs ( 220 ish ) on me and wears the same fucking size. We've talked, he knows it's most likely the sizing that causes his blowouts. But he likes his stuff to fit a certain way, to each their own.

Sizing is a factor specifically wearing out pant seams, baggy just ain't my thing. Probably plays into 3 of my 6-iah lifetime pant warranties. But doesn't doesn't play into wrecking gloves. Or bindings. Or the four sofas + beds I've broken in my lifetime lol.
