The infuse snow surfer looks like a direct competitor to the K2 TT. Vans dropper their pow surfer boot after 2 years and this looks like a more tech’d up version. I’m sure Todd Richards will be happy to see another soft, high tech boot on the market.
I just can’t get down with how big and heavy Vans boots are, at least their more premium offerings.
Lacing up the infuse was such a bear too - internal ankle lace lock, tighten laces, power strap, tighten boa, then zip up powder skirt. Meanwhile the ride fuse, my current boot, is tighten laces then ankle boa.
My only gripe with the Infuse, almost
too many options to get optimal fit. My next pair will be Aura Pros for the double BOA, esp with VANS being super comfortable right out the box, with no break in pain at all for me whatsoever. And pretty good heel hold.
... the Rad-Dad transformation will almost reach its completion after that. Last phase = Step Ons?!
.

I've tried on my friend's white Longo infuses, and the green ones from the next year (I think?) and agree about the lacing, and also found them surprisingly soft for what I thought they would be. Not a boot I would want to ride, personally, but they don't fit me well anyway. At least one of them had the stiff inserts in, and they still felt kinda soft. Neither of them had been ridden a whole lot at the time. Would most likely have to go verse if Vans fit me.

Double Boa all day with the Vans Verse Range.
I think I’m still at least 3-5 years away from Step-On.

I agree on the infuse, just too much going on trying to get my foot in there and dialed then the laces are below the power strap.
I'm back in my old TM2s right now, after 15ish days on the shells and 10ish on the liners my TM2 XLTs just aren't breaking in like I want them to. I should probably run my old liners tomorrow and see how they feel.

TM2 XLTs were worst break in period I ever experienced. After a dozen days they finally stopped giving me blisters on my Achilles tendons. The only time I’ve ever wished I hear molded instead of riding to break in.

I spoke to my local b guy yesterday while riding, he mentioned next years products are a ‘minty’ green compared to blue this year. Do you guys reckon it’s uglier next year? I kind of dig the light blue this year definitely more muted than mint green if so
