Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
none of these bindings perform better than straps and never will
Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
Agreed, but there is certainly a segment of the market that they are for, and it being done right this time around with Supermatic working with any boot, then Step-on, full license for boot and binding tech to whom ever wants it most likely means it will stay around and there will be certain people fully stoked on them.michaelangelo wrote: Sat Jan 18, 2025 9:21 pm none of these bindings perform better than straps and never will

i think you are on the wrong forum if you think the video you posted,dpartridge7 wrote: Sat Jan 18, 2025 11:37 pmi don't recall anyone stating FASE performs better than regular 2 straps, apart from the convenience and ease.michaelangelo wrote: Sat Jan 18, 2025 9:21 pm none of these bindings perform better than straps and never will
and the quotes from riders geting paid to run the tech will change how its perceived.
good luck though.
Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
yeah, you are correct. feels like talking to maga people (certain they are correct without any evidence and are more knowledgable than people that have actually ridden it)MarkusM wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2025 12:10 ami think you are on the wrong forum if you think the silly video you posted,dpartridge7 wrote: Sat Jan 18, 2025 11:37 pmi don't recall anyone stating FASE performs better than regular 2 straps, apart from the convenience and ease.michaelangelo wrote: Sat Jan 18, 2025 9:21 pm none of these bindings perform better than straps and never will

Maga comparison is a reach, but I can see your perspective.
Also - You can like one thing a person does, and not another. Fase and skate tech are two different things. Some may like one or the other, some may like both, and some may like neither.
