"Inspired by the Natural Selection Tour, the Burton Family Tree High Fidelity Snowboard is tuned for big mountain riding, Designed in collaboration with Burton team riders, it prioritizes speed, control, and power for charging through big mountain terrain."
Now that sounds interesting, my guess would be it's based off the HTH and made more freeride-ish. Def keeping an eye on that

Bโ€™s always used the term โ€œbig mountainโ€ to describe one of the boards in FT lineup. Power Wagon, First Cut, Leader Board, Gate Keeper, etc.

Smart idea, to be fair. Itโ€™s an appealing term for those that like to charge.

Outline looks like the Big Gulp but with Straightchutter core profile construction I'm guessing?

I really wanted a year with the fish Experience a year. It has been great. Now back to something harder
I am definitely curious about this seasons Burton Short Stop, same realm as the Powwrench, but lighter and more snappy. $850 tho.

Infuse Snow Surf sounds really intriguing. wonder if it'll be as soft as the Hi Standard XF or Linerless.

Thanks for the insights @benjinyc and @jota!

Yeesh, 850 is pretty steep.

Hope all of our pow boards get a few days on 'em before the season ends...

Yep I'd like to give this boot a spin, an Infuse with a bit of adjustable mobility sounds pretty cool.

I've always really wanted MFI, but Anons never fit my face well enough and sit too far out.

It feels like it's been so long since Burton launched MFI, I thought maybe the patent would run out soon and we'd finally start to see other brands offering this feature. Welp, it looks it's only been 9-ish years (based on a quick googling), and I believe patents last for 20 years. Womp womp.

Has Burton never offered to license it out? Or are brands just not willing to pay for it?

I'm pretty happy with Squad XLs. I've been holding out for a magnetic lens version, but looks like it's not coming for next year and I should just buy a second pair so I don't have to swap lenses as often.

I've noticed a lot of helmets are starting to use non-boa-branded fit adjusters as well. Is the Boa patent really that much older? Or did somebody find a way around their patent? Maybe because these fit adjusters aren't using specifically using a wire or cord they aren't subject to a previous patent?

short stop is dragonfly core and is harder than the PW. I had an eye on this board last yearโ€ฆ (before being on the market)
