What size PW and SK

If anyone has ridden both the Panhandler and Pow Wrench, I'd be interested in hearing their feedback/comparison. Fish too, really. All seem to be in the same vein, in my limited understanding.

If you're wanting camber in a similar package, I think that's where the Skeleton Key comes in... I haven't ridden that one either tho.

my fish 3d on groomers is a skill game. If you regulate angles and stance well it's great but you have to do it all yourself each meter you ride. It's not like camber that you can lean into the turn and enjoy it. and it's so short that you can maneuver over side jumps or cuts... The bad thing is that at the back the tail don’t hold and you have no power in the turn... I changed from the f attendant to the fish and it was a radical change. I wanted to try that. Super fun… Afterwards, the fish opened a new world to me where everything is adaptability in everything you do at low speed but then you want more. more tail, more effective edge... It has made me forget cambers and I only want flexion between feet. Now I am with c2 of lib and later maybe I will try pure pop (other kind of camber but softer) but it’s also true that I ride in small resorts... among rocks... where maneuverability is more important

I always wanted to try the SK

The original designs are great... the ones not repeated... although someone maybe... at some point... may find some resemblance to B... just maybe...

Sorry, I shouldn't have said more versatile, if youre not doing park, jibs, then I think the PW is more versatile than the SK. I found the SK abnormally soft, esp torsionally. The PW was quicker edge-edge and had more snap coming out of turns. The PW does groomers fine, but pow and glades especially well. The SK is ok, you'd think it be better on groomers than the PW because of camber but the flex was kinda dead to me, edge hold was mediocre for a camber deck too. I got a good offer on my Craig's SK that I ended up selling it since it really didn't fit a role for me with the quiver I had — Having said that, I picked up a SK XX which is supposed to address the softness that I'm eager to try.

I wish I would have grabbed an SK XX when they were blowing them out at $350 or whatever. I had the og blue tail and found it kinda doughy-soft also.

@benjinyc OHHHH you also got the SKxx during the super summer saver event huh? Mine is outta the plastic but I'm waiting for coverage to improve before bringing it onto the snow. I love the regular SK but can see why you feel it's too soft at times. Will be interesting to hear our respective reviews on the SKXX

And how would you compare the fish and the PW? I have the same fish as you and in a B shop, advised me not to buy the PW because it was very similar to the fish. but I always thought that slantwalls would make turns better than the fish cap

Fish is so good in pow, which I don't get a lot of... otherwise it's subpar on everything else. When I took it out to Utah after a big storm, it was fun, but then traversing on cat tracks, navigating lift lines at the base, the Fish was pretty squirly. The PW just holds a better edge on everything. The scenarios I'm going to take the Fish out on, you dont really use your edges. I feel like it'd get a lot more use if I lived out in Japan or Bachelor (low angle deep pow). On the steeper stuff, the PW will be better

I really wanted a year with the fish Experience a year. It has been great. Now back to something harder
