Re: The boot thread
@Msteff id rather buy in EU if/when i need new boots if possible.
Edit: i got V shaped feet with mega high instep so its a real hassle to find boots that work well.

softer boot enjoyer aswell.
i was looking for the Deluxe areth rin before pulling the trigger on the k2 overdrafts,
but i could not find the areth rins in my size anywhere that shipped to swe.
its supposedly a softer boot with regular lace and ankle boa and articulating cuff.
i dont see the point of the boa but it seems to be a way to have more "tech" and charge more.
the ankle boa of the overdrafts just feel like a marginaly better internal liner lacing.
my old infuse i think they had the boa outside of the tounge on the shell.
it just made a pressure point for me and felt like trash so didnt realy use it.
If you are having problems finding them in Sweden, I live in Belgium and can get them send to you. Have shipped to Sweden multiple times.
Let me know
gona see what the shop says about warranty first.

fingers crossed!
Re: The boot thread
If you are talking about the Union boot, it'll be stiff, they rate it at 8 out of 10(wich means nothing because there isn't an universal stiffnes scale) and high performance bootpow_hnd wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2025 10:13 am I'm in the softer boot, med flex fam as well. I have hard to fit feet and the stiffer any boot is the harder it's gonna be to get it to fit one perfectly. Stiff shells and liners aren't exactly conforming even when heat moldable.
I am really looking forward to the new Union T-Rice boot as I expect, from conversations with people fully in the know, is that the boot will again be a pretty middle of the road on the flex scale.

Re: The boot thread
the whole last is wide on the ones i tried and that makes the heel to sloppy side to side.
i havent tried the newer salomon last though.

Re: The boot thread
New (non-wide) Dialogue is super wide in the toes, I went down half size and probably should’ve gone down one more. Heel is slightly wider than Burton and Adidas, though.MarkusM wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2025 2:17 pmthe whole last is wide on the ones i tried and that makes the heel to sloppy side to side.

Re: The boot thread
Heel is an easy mod too, so might work.
Re: The boot thread
Man, I had a boot fucking nightmare today!
I have about 8 days on my Burton Photon speed zones and the left boot feels great (I'm goofy so back foot and also the smaller of my feet) with a couple of the yellow j bars added but the right boot felt better with only a j bar added to the outside of my ankle.
Last weekend I rode both days and it had snowed a bunch but right at freezing level so it was kinda hard work and my right ankle was rubbing so I figured it was heel lift and added the other J bar which was a mistake! It must have been putting pressure on a nerve or something because my foot was numb and it sucked to ride. Limped back to the lodge and pulled the J bar and all was much better.
Should have got the Ions.

Re: The boot thread
This is my second set of TM3s. I started stocking up on them in 2019. They fit my duck feet really well. I probably got around 80 days out of my first pair. This pair has maybe 60 days on them, and I don't want to keep adding epoxy and/or shoe goo. I have one more pair on ice that I am getting ready to start using. What are you guys doing to extend the life of your boots particularly at the articulation area of the boot?
