Planning on pulling trigger on the Aeronaut when my local gets the 161 in. Just feels like the perfect deck for where my riding's gone the past few years: aggressive all-mountain transition flow with the occasional park run. And since Blue Montgomery's Bomb Hole, I've been especially feeling Capita as a brand.
Only real concern is the flex. I don't even have a specific too stiff or too soft worry, I just don't trust Capita's flex rating system. They have a bunch of 6 - 6.5 / 10 boards that feel reaaaaaal different when I manhandle them. I'm still salty about the 2015 BSOD... rated 6 / 10, and quite possibly the softest board I've ever ridden.

My Indoor Survival and Power Racer flex ratings from this past season felt bang on, maybe they've gotten better.
Got back on the SK last winter and I really enjoyed it. That, and my Passport as my DD last winter. My taste seems to be moving away from stiffer boards now, with the ~7 flex the most I would currently ride (ie. 157 Passport - flex). Anything more feels way too overkill and work for my taste these days. Entering the "Rad-Dad" phase fr, it seems .

Not yet. I’m still in search of the fabled Dad Bod strength that’s supposed to come with carrying and squatting thrashing toddlers. So far, I’ve only uncovered slipped discs and the dreaded Lego foot, but I’m still hopeful.
