Gah, hit a tree in Whistler and hurt my knee on Monday and had to cancel the Tahoe flight on Wednesday.

Someday I’ll get decent conditions in Whistler.

Surprisingly light/dry mild pow day today. Temps are not quite what you want to see, but guess EC was in a nice little pocket this weekend. Rode the hammerhead for the first time this year, and man I love that board. Going to be perfect in Montana.

9 days at kaprun, riding kitz with really good snowfall +40cm and now back to finland and hyvinkään sveitsi has been given me the best park riding time of my life, no lift lines and park in perfect shape.

imo black bases are 20-30% faster than their clear counterparts. I will testify in court to that.

I was back in Scotland to visit family and got a day at my old local. Very low tide but always fun to be back and soak up the rugged charm. The weather cleared up near the end of the day and I hiked the summit and caught a Brocken spectre.

@Kevington learning to snowboard in Scotland in the mid 90's on a rental board was pure trial by fire! The Poma lifts were no joke and neither was the drive from Aberdeen in a 1 litre Fiesta!

I finally got out on Sunday two weeks after clipping a tree in Whistler. Knee isn't fully better but it was cold and the groomers were fast at Stevens Pass. I had fun once I settled down and stopped worrying about making my knee worse.

With the exception of a new café in the car park to replace the old one that went on fire, I can assure that almost nothing has changed at Glencoe since the 90s. I'm kind of glad for how harsh a start it was in a way. Every time I sit on a chairlift that is not made of wood, or ride on a run that has actually been groomed, or see a real live tree it feels super luxurious.
