A Thread For Goggles
Re: A Thread For Goggles
Got rid of a couple Line Miners to fund the Dragon RVX Mags. Much better fit with the Sweet Protection helmet I’ve been using this season.
a bit of taper, a lot of camber

I was actually going to go that route so I could still use anon.’s lenses in there. Perceive Night is the jam around here.eleveneightnate wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 8:30 pmJust don’t get the Arrows. They’re quite literally M3s haha.coleslawed wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 5:56 pm i’m tempted to go back to Airgoggles as well, at least for warmer days. found myself using my MFI masks much less this season, which was the biggest benefit of anon. goggles for me. may try out one of Ashbury’s magnetic frames, just to keep the lens swappability.

Nice, maybe the Arrows/M3s are lower profile than the M4s and Syncs.coleslawed wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 1:30 pmI was actually going to go that route so I could still use anon.’s lenses in there. Re: A Thread For Goggles
they 100% are. not as low profile as Airgoggles, but the M4/Sync are some of the furthest sitting lenses out there.
Re: A Thread For Goggles
My Dragon RVX goggles fogged between the "lenses" in last days of spring. Kinda forgot it and had blast in summer.
Summer was starting to end and I remembered the lenses fogging. Emailed Dragon and they straight up just asked my info and sent me a new lens. Great customer service from them!

Strap under with a beanie, personally. A Smith Maze over the top of everything with the earpads out feels nonexistent while I'm riding.
Re: A Thread For Goggles
It all depends, my old Smith Code helmet and IO Mag xl goggles I had to go under but the same goggles feel better over with the Maze. The only constant is a Blackstrap balaclava, love those things.

Snagged some VZ Machs. Stoked on these: they look rad, have great peripherals, and the Wildlife lenses are pretty similar to Chromapop. Not magnetic, but still super easy to swap and I really like how there's a 360 degree gasket the lens snaps into so that no snow gets in. Also snagged a couple of extra lenses from Hana Beaman on Locals Sale, so I have 4 total.
