I'm pretty set on buying one-- I might have already bought one, but 161s haven't shipped yet (every other size seems available though). I've learned at this point I just don't really like true twins, but a medium-stiff non-tapered board I can center up sounds like about the ticket. Something I can throw around in the park a little more easily than my wider carving decks, but still send around the rest of the hill.

I can probably swap this with the K2 Instrument depending on the day, and that'll cover like 90% of days of snow, with a couple odd days here and there on some of the wackier shapes for a change of pace.

Not as into the graphic, but def see myself getting one once I'm digging the aesthetic. The W23 Burton SK and K2 Passport are my go-to's currently, so in no rush anyway. First time I'm happy with same boards going into the next season, in some time.
Did you sell your Souly Grail and if so, why? SG have a similar price now that is on sale to Passport with a discount.

Topsheet is stellar (Polar skate deck esque) but that base is pretty tough..

Hey dude, hope you've been well! Not really sold, just swapping with my bro. I really enjoy the SG, but find myself enjoying the Passport more as my DD and for banked slalom courses/races, which I enjoy a lot.

So it's still technically within the crew, just not in my main rotation in the immediate future.

Yes.
Sorry, an old post. But is this really the case with Capita? I never owned one, but thinking about Outsiders as a not too stiff but poppy park/resort board. Also not really sure about their flex ratings, but that's an other thing.

Did ya'll ever have issues with Capita where the base would no longer be flushed with the steel edges after some time? Both my OG ultrafear and stairmaster extreme had this. Friends who also rode capita experienced it too. It's been one reason I haven't ridden Capita for a minute.

But also don't see it happening on my OG Slush Slasher...maybe because I don't ride rails with that one?

Haven't had that happen with my latest Capita boards (22/23 SB Power Racer, 20/21 SB Powder Racer, 22/23 Indoor Survival, 21/22 Mercury, etc).

Maybe it was an issuer before the Mothership. Would love to get on a 22 or 23 Indoor Survival 50-52. Really can't find those...

I've had problems with extruded bases. Base wears out next to steel edges. Here in southern Finland its mostly man made snow and usually pretty icy, so the base wears out. Even if you wax it regularly. Never had problems with sintered bases.
