To each their own, but that particular profile was probably the reason I thought it was whack, and I was still experimenting with reverse camber at the time

Time & place, though

I had one. It was great but following Burton's instructions I bought a size small. It's not a flying v, it's an S rocker. It's good if you like directional boards because you have the camber at the back for the olli and the power and it floats well in the front and is very forgiving but in the end it felt quite asymmetrical to me

Maybe the Gril Master could be a logical evolution of the Barracuda… maybe…

I'm kinda looking for that Goldilocks board that has directionality (some taper, a bigger nose with a good amount of rocker, a decent amount of setback if I need it, etc) while still being fun to butter, press, and mess around with
Cardiff Lynx - it's all that, I had so much fun on mine that I got mid season last winter

Funny you mention it, as I was just checking the Lynx out this morning! Sounds like a super fun board, gonna try and get ahold of one this season.

My current quiver is an embarassment of riches, but the Lynx is the one board that's still on my mind and sounds fun. But I've never seen a Cardiff here in the east.

Finally picked up the Grilmaster 155 from my brother's, the shrinkwrap is a mess, but I haven't bothered taking it off yet since the board will still be in storage for a bit in a dusty area. More camber than I was expecting, like 10mm give or take, so that's cool! Also it's tough to tell but there's also a fair amount of rocker in the nose. The contact point is a bit beyond the wrinkle in the shrinkwrap that's catching the light here. The tail has a way shorter rockered zone, but the contact points also lift up noticeably when the camber is weighted.

My summer sale board addictions.... erm...additions. Not all for me to ride.

Caved on the Salasnek just recently. Something something my brain said it would feel cool to ride it. Nono... I really want the tranny finder.... nono but if yu don't get this now you'll never get one... nono, you don't even really ride twins anymore.... nono, I do, or at least I could just goofin about with the kids and they're still making the TF, I can get one anytime, plus it's pretty similar to my optimistic... besides, Kouras are like tattoos, seemingly you can't just get one... I'm not sure I'm ready to make that sort of commitment... plus, you sold all your vintage boards and it would be cool to have this one again... okay. okay. fine.

If yur not filling your garage with yellow top black bins, what are you even doing?

I picked up one of these for carrying my gear to/from the hill last season: Image https://unionbindingcompany.com/product ... ar-bag-40l

pretty nice for hauling everything together but still letting the boots air out on the ride home.

a $2 Ikea bag would probably do the trick, too, but I'm a sucker for the U.
