Mentioned this in the bored review thread, I have Ride Cadence (women's Insano) boots with Now Drives & hard bushings atm. That combo does not fare well, I just had non-stop pain in the mid-foot area. Tried the same setup with Deeluxe rental boots the last two days and it was a night and day difference. Was a bit too ambitious with the Cadence as well and bought too small/they don't pack out as much as I hoped, so I am shopping for new boots once again.
What boots you guys are running with Now/Jones bindings?

Salomon Lo-Fi. My Jones Mercury heel straps are causing a pressure point on the top of my arch no matter how loose I run the straps in both surf and freeride modes. May have to do the Burton Hammock Strap swap.

Rather than answering your question, I'd ask why you ask? I certainly don't mean this in a snarky way, but what are you hoping to gain from knowing which boots other people use?

Sure, no problem. As I said, the Cadence are too small and I'm looking for other boots again. I think it can't hurt to try on models/brands where I know people don't have the same issue I had. The setup worked much better with just swapping to Deeluxe rental boots and iirc TGR also mentioned that they couldn't ride Now/Jones bindings with some boots models due to foot pain. So I think it really has to do with the boot construction.

I've broken a couple toe buckles (I run them forever) but never a tongue. Just landed a side hit and my rear ankle popped loose. That was fun! These are certainly not new.. probably time to replace all the plastic. It's all Burton.

That happened to me a few days ago in Jackson, I had a voile strap with me and used that which worked well enough that I didn’t bother replacing the strap for the duration of my trip

No idea how, but I broke the toe strap of my Bent Metal Cor-Pros last year. They were pretty new, too. When I got to the top of the lift and wanted to strap in, my back binding didn't have a strap anymore, lol
Had to ride down with just the heel strap and go to the rental shop at the mountain, where they sold me a toe strap from a K2 rental fleet binding that I used for the next couple of days, until I could get to a board shop and get a proper replacement.
The new Bent Metal strap doesn't match the original color of the straps, but at least it's not a rental fleet strap xD

Does anyone have a comparison of Rome Katanas and Bataleon Astros (fullwrap)? Specifically, are they significantly more powerful to warrant a purchase?
Lobster Halldor pro = Bataleon Astro but cheaper and currently 50% off on the Lobster site. I'm tempted to buy but not if they are only marginally different from the Katanas I already have.
