So their thought process was since they have the Pin Tonic in the line up and it had the same amount of taper and that they should move the specs on the TF to not be so redundant. Because the TF57 and PT64 are literally the same deck with a different nose/tail.

Isn’t this their entire schtick though to keep production costs lower? They have like 2-3 base silhouette molds and then tweak nose / tail across multiple models? Hell sometimes not even the nose…

So... due to a wonderfool transpiring I was able to pick up my dream Optisplitstic split. Perhaps the last split I'll ever buy myself. @Pow_Hnd was nice enough to help me out with a hotass skin situation. I wasn't really expecting to be able to get this and I'm chuffed beyond belief. Going to be all stupid sexy Flanders out there on the skin track this year.

NGL, a bit intimidated. 172 Pin Tonic.
The 164 has the exact same specs as the 164 Pencil which I have 2 of, Plus and Split, and love. So I guess the logic is this will be even better?!
I'm considering putting a pair of the Niedecker Supermatics on it.
