Man, I can’t wait for the 90s graphic trend to die out. Keeping it 90s those artifact and freaker graphics…buzz’s girlfriend woof.

I wonder which of NIdeckers sub brands will fold/merge first, Bataleon, Jones, Rome, or YES - Im thinking Rome. Jones has such a niche with middle aged riders that they'll prob stick around, the others I can see merging

I could maybe see a Bataleon/Rome merger. But would be bummed to see Rome drop. I've been a big fan of their stuff for a long time.

I actually like the 90's turn-based-MSDOS-wizard graphic on the Artifact. The base is meh. Should have just done a huge version of the wizard rather than ROME in 90's bubble font.

I think Rome and Yes are most likely to merge, but doesn't look like that to me yet.

Agreed re: unrad dad Jones fan boys. I don’t see that brand going anywhere. I think yes and Rome are a pretty natural paring. All the more reason why the lobster, yes, now smash up makes no sense. It should have been the natural fit of bataleon and lobster, with now on its own or gone and the tech filtered through all the brands that have a binding line. But if I had to pick, I’d say the next to go will be slash assuming nidecker still owns them.

Yeah, I’m over the intentionally shitty and low effort 90s graphics/fits/vibes. It’s just boring pandering to a small demographic of gen z baristas at this point.

Is Yes bigger and more marketable than Rome? I’ve only seen maybe 5 Yes boards in the wild in my entire life but Rome boards and bindings everywhere.

I like those 90s graphics but rome has the worst looking boards in the game, renes boards and all disgusting.

I see one rome board every now and then and same to yes and bataleon. Rest of the /100 boards are burton capita or rentals.
