someone from Burton must be lurking here because I saw they basically re-categorized all their Directional Flying V boards, like the Stellar to just Directional Camber over the weekend

Because it's cool to hate any sort of reverse camber these days... seems that "real" snowboarders only ride camber. Lots of camber. The most cambery camber that ever cambered. That's how you know you're a real snowboarder.

Just you wait, at some point there will be a level of snowboarder that can carve rocker.

Oh no. The internet has told me it's IMPOSSIBLE. Only camber can carve. Only camber can pop. Only camber can land. It's not the skill of the rider... it's the board.

25/26 I presume there will be a special edition of some sort

That's funny, but directional flying V was an accurate name.

That discussion wasn't about pushing a preference for camber, it was about the difference between two different profiles that somebody misconstrued as the same thing.

Thanks for your observations. After thinking about it for a while I tend to take the 160 (standard width). It was just great and in the last 25 years I was never happy with a board wider than 260mm. Even if size 11 then is size 12 now (feet are the same), no need for a change.

Btw. first custom was 1996 I believe.

I’m trying hard not to be a hater, but a Steve Aoki collab? Give me a break man

The OG skipjack 52 was the best version. Reissue and this one have a lot less tail kick
